Ninten Related Illustrations

So for a hot minute, I was practically the Dib Membrane of the Smash Bros. Fandom. Actually, scratch that, I still am. I’ve been a huge supporter of the character Ninten from the Mother/EarthBound series and to this day believe he should be in Smash. So below is some stuff relating to one of my fave video game characters. Who knows, maybe my 500 page slideshow for him actually meant something in the end?

Stock Icon

Firstly, I decided to make a stock icon for him based on SSBU’s artstyle. At the time making this, there wasn’t really any quality icons for him, so I decided to make my own. This was made around August 2018.

Character Alts MK 1

It took me a while to actual find a style for Ninten that I actually liked, which is why I redid this much later. But here were my alt ideas for his character. They were based on his commercial outfit, good friend Loid, love interest Ana, the courageous Flying Man, the robotic StarMan, his outfit from the Mother novel, and his evil alien uncle Giegue/Giygas. I believe this was made in late 2018.

While making a new evidence slideshow earlier this year, I decided to revamp the Ninten alts. While the background might not be as flashy, I believe the character looks much better here.

Ninten and Kirby

This was done for a Kirby Hat contest for a Discord server. Didn’t win, but I did learn while making this. After finally getting a drawing tablet, I decided to give it a whirl. So this is technically the first “complex” drawing with the tablet. Hopefully I can improve some more.
