Nothing like three in the morning to write an introductory blog post am I right? Ha ha… IT’S THE PERFECT TIME!!
Anyways, this is my first attempt at a blog post. Neat huh? It’s like we’re taking a journey together or something. A long binding path that may lead to nowhere, or maybe perhaps somewhere? That’d be pretty cool. I’ve always been fond of traveling to different places. Issue is, I have a hard time actually MOVING to a new place. Mostly because I’m worried that I have no idea how to live in the “real” world, or at the very least would be terrible at it. My imagination has always been the more interesting alternative to the mundane reality.
Truth is, that I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing a lot of the time. I DO know, that I want to make stuff that makes people happy, but how do I do that? Where do I start? How do I make myself happy in the process? What do I want for breakfast tomorrow? These are the questions I’ve been grappling with for a while. A professor once said to me that a website is practically mandatory for exposure in the 21st century, so I suppose this is my first step in starting? My own personal place on the world wide web. It’s pretty nice to think of it that way.
I often bounce between hyperfocus and dazed with a dash of distracted. Or my personal favorite of having five ideas floating around in my head, only for me to just sit down and do none of them. So many ideas, so little focus most of the time. I really don’t want this site to become just an afterthought, so I’m gonna try to at the very least update this blog as often as possible. Whether it be an update on me getting out of the middle of nowhere to the middle of somewhere, updates on my work, or just something dumb like a list of 10 or so Invader Zim comic stories that would make great episodes of the TV series.
Actually, that last one sounds fun. I might just do that.
Who knows? Maybe I’ll have a page dedicated to my graphic novel about griffins and stuff? Heh. Griffins n’ Stuff. Why am I wide awake right now. I worked a 9 hour shift today.
Anyways, thanks for reading this jumbled mess of a blog post. I’ll probably work on that Invader Zim list or some new typography or something. Adios.
